Austin Artistic Reconstruction, LLC is registered in the State of Texas as a for-profit company, although it operates as a non-profit, all-volunteer organization. No one is paid for time and effort. As such, reporting our financial information to our friends, volunteers, and the creators behind our Burning Flipside community is very important.
The 2009-2010 budget presented at Spring Town Hall 2010 is available.
While the presentations given at Spring Town Hall meetings for 2011 and 2012 are prepared, by hand, for maximum HTML/Web compatibility, you might be interested in reviewing the numbers AAR, LLC presented to everyone.

AAR Reporting - Budgets-2012.pdf (126KB) (below)
These are the budgets for financial years for 2008-2009, 2009-2010, 2011-2012 and 2012-2013. AAR, LLC tends to plan fiscal years in 18 month segments, so although we're reporting 1 year increments, it is helpful to remember this detail. This is because Burning Flipside takes place in the middle of a calendar year; consequently, our planning goes beyond January/December fence-posts. By year, one can find a budget broken down by planning area. One can also find the ticket price for that year, and that year's theme and effigy design.
AAR Reporting - Actuals (Trending)-2012.pdf (122KB) (below)
These are the actual totals for the expenditures of the financial years 2009-2010, and 2011-2012. By year, one can find the same budget breakdowns by respective planning areas. As explained at Spring Town Hall 2012, the actual expenditures per year are calculated against the budgeted amount in two ways. The first is as a difference of percentage of the actual expenditure in one chart, and as "what percentage of the budget was spent?" in the second chart. These numbers are important as AAR plot trends, figure out tight budget plans, and safeguard ticket prices. This is the more complicated set of charts to understand. Although the second chart is the one most frequently asked about, the first chart helps target our sights.
