Come learn how to elevate your costume game and make awesome props using common types of foam! This intro course will discuss the pros and cons of working with EVA, polystyrene and expanding foam. I will show you resources to learn more, and share the types of projects that I’ve made with these materials. I’ll have a demo at the end and I will bring some scrap material if you want to try out some techniques or start a small project. Feel free to bring in your own material or ideas! If you plan to dive in it may help to bring some of the following tools to use or share: heat gun, hot glue gun, razor knives, craft knives, cutting mat, sandpaper, respirator or dust mask.
