2025 Burning Flipside Ticket Price Increase Announcement
From time to time, we have needed to raise ticket prices in order to cover increased expenses, either for expanded event services or to cover rising costs of goods and services. As everything has seemingly become more expensive in the last couple of years, Flipside tickets need to increase in price in order to continue to be financially sustainable as an event and to continue to have a year-round community space.
The price for a mailed-in adult or teen ticket request will now be $175.00, however we are keeping our kid tickets (ages 7-13) at $40.00 and child tickets (ages newborn-6) will continue to be free. This ticket price increase is similar to previous increases, in that it is being introduced after three years and is in the range of 15-20%.
This year, we are also introducing the ability to purchase a ticket by credit card, in addition to the traditional mail-in and mail order method. These ticket requests will be processed at the same time as mailed-in ones in February, but will need to be more expensive to cover additional processing fees and sales tax. Prices for tickets paid for with a credit card will be $197.00 per adult/teen ticket and $47.00 per kid ticket.

Do You Wanna Build a Snooo…Effigy?
Calling all builders, aspiring and well seasoned- DaFT needs you! What is DaFT? Flipside’s Design and Fabrication Team! These amazing volunteers work with the DaFT lead to make magic happen. Don’t know how to carpentry/make stuff? Great! Other DaFTies will show you how. Think shop class, except instead of walking out with a bird feeder, you just helped build the art center piece of Burning Flipside 2025. If you’d like to be a part of this amazing team, please send an email to art-af@burningflipside.org We will be collecting contact info over the next weeks so that when an effigy proposal is chosen (TBD) the DaFT Lead will reach out and get you all going. Come when you can to lend a hand. Let’s gooooo!

Ignition Philter Funds Art is preparing to give its art grants for 2025 and we can’t do it without your help! We need you to help us decide who gets the art grants.

Set up and tailgating at noon – Come help Set up! Talking at 2:34, followed by more schmoozing and clean up – Stay and help! Eat, drink, be merry, learn, and network! Get acquainted with the event, the leadership, volunteer opportunities, and more! We may even get a preview of the effigy and learn more about getting involved in building it!
Spring Art Show February 22 at Lloyd, 2:00 – 6:00 p.m.
Welcome to the Spring Art Show at Lloyd- first in 2025! The 2025 theme for Burning Flipside is “Deep in the ART of Texas” – this art show will honor the event by having a playful theme of A.R.T. (whatever your imagination says that is for you).
Does your art have to match the theme? It’s impossible not to -just bring your art to this show and tell with your burner besties! We’d love to see what you’ve been doin (including WIPs!). Art appreciation is so very important! Come, play, and pARTicipate! This event is for ALL AGES. Please keep in mind that the audience includes wee ones. Littles are also encouraged to share their work and often do, and it’s been delightful! Have questions?
